Quote of the Week - Cyril of Alexandria

"That which the holy scripture hath not said, by what means should we receive and account it among those things that be true ?"--Cyril of Alexandria

This is why Christians do not credit the Talmud. Both the Babylonian and the Jerusalem Talmuds contain much that is not in the Bible and a good amount that contradicts the Bible.

The Holy Scripture tends to be rather fully-informative with respect to Christians living a good moral life.

What might not be covered in the Holy Scripture, Christians can decide by natural law; that is, right reason.

Moreover, Christians can ask themselves, "How would Jesus want me to respond in this situation?" Then, Christians should respond the way Jesus would want them to respond.
