Quote of the Week - C.S. Lewis

"We will never save civilisation as long as civilisation is our main object. We must learn to want something else even more." -- C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

George Patsourakos said...

If we are to save civilization, humanity must live in a more harmonious and loving world. Such a world would have no wars, and no social, ethnic, religious, or racial prejudice.

Also, we would live like brothers and sisters, and help each other -- financially, emotionally, etc. -- whenever the need arose.

Finally, we must pray to God on a daily basis, thanking Him for everything we have, and seeking His guidance in the challenges that lie ahead.

I doubt that humans have the ability to save ourselves. We desperately need a Savior. That Savior has ALREADY COME, even Christ our God.
