Has Anger Become a Habit?

Anger is a natural emotion, triggered by abuse and injustice. We encounter hurtful people and injustices daily, and if we don't learn to let go of anger, we will be perpetually angry.

Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are members of one another. “Be angry, yet do not sin.” Do not let the sun set upon your anger..." (Ephesians 4:25, 26)

In order to avoid anger, a person must make up his or her mind that he or she will not get angry...ever!

Life is too short -- in fact, being angry frequently tends to shorten life even more -- and it just isn't worth becoming angry.

We would be wise to be mindful of the saying, "Don't sweat the small stuff... and it's all small stuff."
