Quote of the Week - Pope Gregory the Great

"Many in the church are afraid to lead a better life, but not afraid to continue in the quagmire of their inertia. Because they consider themselves to be sinners, they tremble to approach the way of sanctity, but they are not afraid to persist in their vices." -- St. Gregory Dialogos, Bishop of Rome 590-604

Many people find it easier to live a life that tends to reflect their vices.

Unfortunately, they lead a predominantly sinful life, because they consider sanctity to be a much more difficult goal to achieve than sinfulness.
