Quote of the Week - Archbishop Eliud Wabukala

"To equip God's people to transform society with the gospel is an holistic transformation much deeper and more lasting than any government or international agency can bring because it addresses our deepest need, that of a restored relationship with the God in whose image we are made and whose workmanship we are." -- Archbishop Eliud Wabukala of Kenya

People who live according to the gospel live a much deeper spiritual life than people who only live by the laws of a nation.

The laws of the gospel should transcend the laws of a nation.

That is true, George. I like what Flannery O'Connor wrote: “Push back against the age as hard as it pushes against you. What people don’t realize is how much religion costs. They think faith is a big electric blanket, when of course it is the cross.”
