Democracy is a form of government that takes into account all views -- even those of the minority; however, in a democracy, the majority rules.

Liberty in a democracy allows everyone to express an opinion and to be treated equally -- regardless of of one's race, ethnic background, religion, socioeconomic status, etc.

Liberty must be accompanied by responsibility, in order to ensure that liberty does not overstep its bounds.
