Quote of the Week - Fr. Robert Hart
"You cannot be more 'Catholic' than to be faithful to the Scriptures, the Fathers of the Church, and every Ordinal used by the Church in the Patristic period. You can, however, be more Roman and more Medieval." -- Father Robert Hart (From here.)
The Christian theological principles established by the Fathers of the Church must always prevail over any religious beliefs that were adopted afterwards.
In other words, the Christian doctrine of the Church Fathers is "carved in stone" and can never be superseded.
