California Gov. Jerry Brown signed a law prohibiting minors from being subjected to a form of therapy that seeks to change a person’s sexual orientation from gay to straight, reports the Los Angeles Times. The law, the first of its kind in the country, is a major victory for gay rights activist who, like the vast majority of mental health experts, insist the so-called conversion therapy, also known as reparative therapy, isn’t based on science and could be dangerous.
The bill specifically prohibits anyone under 18 to undergo any efforts to change his or her sexual orientation, reports Reuters, noting that it got support from the California Psychological Association and the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Read it all here.
The California Psychological Association and the California Board of Behavorial Sciences are dominated by liberals and homosexual activists.
I was born there and got out before the crazies took control.

The deliberate deconstruction of society continues apace, led by the intolerant preachers of tolerance. Jerry Brown also signed a bill last year allowing middle school girls to give 'consent' to the Gardasil vaccination. Oh, and the state pays for it.
Help!!!
The consequences of such actions will cost California more down the road. The state is already bankrupt.
Yes, you are certainly right. However, if you look at usdebtclock.org, you will find that California's debt to GDP ratio is 18%; the federal debt to GDP ratio is 104%!!! California deserves all the bashing we get, but that trendiness may divert people from the larger national problem. There is no place to hide.
Also, it's interesting that Romney's best fundraisers are in Orange County and San Diego; more than 1/5 of his campaign fund is still from CA.
Things are getting interesting!
When that much of Romney's money comes from Orange County, it makes you realize that not all "the beautiful people" support Obama, though the mainstream media would have us think so.
