When Barack Obama was a candidate for president, Pastor Rick Warren asked him the simple question…”at what point does a baby get human rights?”
This week President Obama answered that question when he spoke to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. He quoted the Declaration of Independence and in his view the Creator didn't endowed us with inalienable rights. Yes, he left the Creator out of the picture. Apparently we gave these rights to ourselves and therefore we can just as easily take them away. That's what we humans do so well, being fickle creatures.
As Sheila Liaugminas notes this reasoning is untethered to logic and natural law.
