Kyriacos Markides, Professor of Sociology at the University of Maine, will be the keynote speaker at the International EcoPeace Community ESTIA's 6th Annual Conference in Belfast, Maine on October 23rd. He will present pictures of garden on the Holy Mountain and at St Catherine's Monastery, Sinai, which he visited last spring.
Emily Markides will speak about permaculture.
The Markides are known for their concern for sustainable living and stewardship of the environment.
