It calls for women to be stoned to death for committing adultery, but men are rarely punished for committing adultery. It allows husbands to initiate a divorce, but women cannot. It emphasizes that parents select a husband for their daughters, but sons are free to marry any woman they want. It requires wives to get permission from their husbands in order to leave their home to perform an errand or meet with others, but husbands can leave their home at will.
